What is the Whystock Score?

The Whystock Score is a 0–100 composite that summarizes momentum, risk-adjusted return, and trend strength into a single number. Higher scores suggest better risk/reward for the current setup.

Components

  • RSI: Oversold (RSI < 40) adds points; overbought (RSI > 70) subtracts.
  • Sharpe Ratio: Positive Sharpe adds; negative subtracts.
  • Trend: Price above 200-day SMA adds; below subtracts.

The score starts at 50 (neutral) and is adjusted up or down based on these factors, then clamped to 0–100.
