This is Tech Weekly.</p><p>:: Tech Weekly</p><p>Nvidia raised its outlook for AI chip sales, saying the revenue opportunity could hit at least $1 trillion through 2027.</p><p>That's a big jump from the $500 billion it foresaw earlier for its Blackwell and Rubin chips this year.</p><p>"I want to thank Samsung, who manufactures the Groq LP-30 chip for us"</p><p>At the GTC developer conference in California, CEO Jensen Huang unveiled a new CPU and an AI system built on Groq.</p><p>Speaking to a huge crowd, Huang said AI was entering a new phase.</p><p>"Finally, AI is able to do productive work, and therefore, the inflection point of inference has arrived. In order to do, it has to inference."</p><p>Staying with Nvidia, Huang also lauded the viral OpenClaw AI agent in sweeping terms.</p><p>He called it "the most popular open source project in the history of humanity"</p><p>Saying its rise in weeks had surpassed what Linux achieved in decades.</p><p>Nissan, Uber and British startup Wayve are to collaborate on developing robotaxis, aiming to roll out a pilot program in Tokyo later this year.</p><p>They say Nissan Leaf electric vehicles equipped with Wayve's self-driving technology will be made available to customers via Uber.</p><p>Meta Platforms shares rose following a Reuters report that the social media giant plans to lay off 20% or more of its workforce...</p><p>to offset heavy spending on AI and bet on productivity gains from the technology.</p><p>After falling behind in the AI race, Meta has spent heavily in recent years to catch up by building data centers.</p><p>"Phantom" is Foundation Future Industry's flagship humanoid robot, a 5-foot-11, 176-pound machine.</p><p>It's designed to carry loads of up to 88 pounds (40 kg) and move at speeds of up to 6.1 km/h (3.8 mph). </p><p>The robotics startup is aiming to build robots for defense as well as industrial work.</p><p>It told Reuters that it wants its machines to handle logistics, navigation and target identification autonomously.</p><p>But will require human approval before any use of force.</p></body>
